This Unsponge double sided heavy duty version is made with a strong, wide-mesh hessian (burlap) and one side is Cotton mesh for added scrubbing power for extra durability when you’re tackling those tough pots and pans.
How long will a Heavy Duty Unsponge last? With regular dish soap and cleaners the average life is 3-4 months, with bleaches and heavy chemicals up to 3 months.
Is it biodegradable? All parts of the Heavy Duty Unsponge are plant based so it will break down completely with time. If you’d like to compost it just cut it into small pieces and shred it with your fingers.
What to expect when it arrives – When the unsponge arrives it will appear to be hard. This is because the core is made from wood/cotton pulp. So as wood dries it goes hard. Once you add water, it will instantly become soft like a regular sponge.
CLEANING PASTE
Cleaning Paste is made from bicarb, castile soap and essential oils. Delivers a gentle and thorough clean and is totally non-toxic. Perfect for cleaning marks on walls, restoring grout and removing limescale from chrome fittings.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: As your Unsponge is made from 100% natural materials, you can wash it with your regular washing to keep it in its best condition. Air dry only. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Do no use on rough or sharp surfaces as this will cut into the fabric.
