Unsponge with Mesh
Unsponge with Mesh is a sustainable alternative to disposable dish sponges – ideal for eco-friendly cleaning or a zero waste home – they also make great house warming gifts for green-conscious friends!
This Unsponge has one side of polyester mesh for tackling those tough pots and pans while the towelling side (100% cotton)offers a softer yet durable cleaning tool. Best of all the coloured fabric is offcuts from your favourite Unpaper Towels (100% cotton). So now you can match your Unsponge to your Unpaper Towel!
What is inside? It is a natural cellulose sponge which is dye-free and is made from natural wood pulp, cotton fibres. This is so handy for getting those all important suds to wash your dirty dishes. Best of all it is completely Compostable and Biodegradable.
Towelling colour will be black unless you ask to change it. We also have white, pink and grey available. Please leave a comment at checkout if you want to change the backing colour.

Caring for your Unpsonge couldn’t be easier. If you use a dishwasher you can simply pop it in with your wash or throw it in with your regular clothes wash!
How long will a Heavy Duty Unsponge last? With regular dish soap and cleaners the average life is 3-4 months, with bleaches and heavy chemicals up to 3 months. Please ensure that you remove the mesh prior to composting.
