Why is Planet Revive Unpaper Towel amazing?

Our Unpaper Towels are the ORIGINAL and still believe that they are the best quality you will find.

Flannel cotton is a 100% natural fabric that naturally *clings together.  This is the reason why I have designed our one ply range of Flannel Unpaper Towel using this fabric in mind.

They are no fuss and simple to use.  You don’t have to worry about the time-consuming job of clipping them all back together after washing.  All you have to do is roll them back onto the holder, so they are ready to reuse.  Or simply fold them and keep on the bench. The bigger the spill, the more you use.

They are designed to work just like a roll of paper towels (but just a lot better for our gorgeous planet). The more you wash them, the more absorbent they become.  The best thing about Planet Revive’s Unpaper Towels is that they are reusable and compostable/biodegradable.

Unpaper Towels are perfect for eco-friendly households, not only will they clean any surface, but they are soft and non evasive.  Perfect to clean:

  • Laptop/Computer Screens
  • Reading/Sunglasses
  • Delicate bench tops
  • Glass
  • Dusting
  • Spills
  • General Cleaning
  • Changing your baby
  • Face Wipes
  • Or even just for a funky statement piece in your kitchen. Mix and match your favourite colours/patterns to suit your décor.

*Flannel will only cling together when rolled up standing upright.  If you lay them flat or fold on a bench, they won’t due to the weight of each towel.  It’s all about the Earth’s gravity.

FAQ

Q – Can you use these to soak up oil?

A – Yes!  BUT you will have to rinse them our immediately with hot water to dissolve any oil particles.

Q – Will they stain?

A – Well…like any fabric it will stain BUT if you treat these like you treat any item of clothing that has been stained you will be fine.  Just use your own discretion.  Would you mop up a beetroot spill with a white t-shirt and expect it not to stain?  The better you care for these the longer they will last, just like clothing or any other reusable product.

Q – How do I dispose of them when they have reached the end their lifecycle?

A – Simply cut off the sewn edges (dispose of these) and pop in your compost bin or green bin.  Cotton is compostable!

Q – How do they cling together?

A – Flannel is a brushed cotton so the natural fibres cling together when they are rolled together and stored upright.  This is why I have also designed our Wooden Unpaper Towel Holder to make life a whole lot simpler and sustainable.

First step is to wash. Second us to use. Then repeat the process. It can’t be any simpler!  The more you was the more absorbent they become.

Always wash prior to use. Fully machine washable in hot or cold water.

Do not use fabric softeners as this will reduce their absorbency. Do not bleach. Can be tumble dried and warm iron.
